Gomersal, CleckheatonCleckheaton decorator
Gavin Wright decorates lounges, halls, stairs and landings, bedrooms, kitchens and whole houses from his base in Gomersal. Rated 5.0 by every customer who has reviewed him on Google.
GW Decorating is Gavin Wright, a painter and decorator in Cleckheaton working from Gomersal. He comes round before the job to quote and talk it through, confirms his arrival time the day before, then does the work with real care for the preparation.
That is why so many of his customers book him again. One has used him for a whole holiday let and a garage conversion, another booked her hall and stairs straight after her lounge. As one put it, Gavin is "definitely a keeper".
Walls, ceilings, woodwork and doors in the room you use most. Customers say their lounge feels fresh and welcoming again, finished to a great standard in a few days. Gavin can sometimes slot a job in at short notice when his diary allows.
The job his customers ask about most. Gavin handles the height, the spindles and the long walls so the whole stairway looks finished, from the front door to the top of the landing. Customers who book him for a lounge often come back for the hall and stairs next.
Statement wallpaper hung neatly with the pattern lined up, like this marble-effect feature wall. A single wall of paper can change the feel of a whole room, with the rest of the walls, doors and skirtings painted to match so the room feels finished.
From one bedroom to a full house. Gavin has decorated a complete holiday let property from top to bottom, getting every room ready for guests with a clean, neutral finish. Bedrooms are done with the same care, with walls, ceilings, doors and skirtings all painted and the room left ready to use.
Kitchens repainted and new rooms decorated after building work, including a garage conversion. One customer said their kitchen was completely transformed. New plaster, new skirtings and new doors are all finished off properly, so the new space matches the rest of your home.

Hall, Staircase and Landing
Gavin came round in advance of the job to quote and discuss the work. He confirmed his arrival time etc the day prior to commencement. He did a great job of our hall, stairs and landing. He is efficient, tidy and friendly.
I am very pleased with the results. So much so that I have asked him to do an exterior job next for us. I would highly recommended Gavin.
Thank you so much Gavin. You are definitely ‘a keeper’. 😊😊😊
Gavin decorated my Lounge last week and did an excellent job, I love it, it’s so fresh and welcoming now. He even managed to slot me in almost last minute, which I was incredibly grateful for. I’ve already recommended him to others and provisionally booked him for my hall and stairs next year.
I’ve used Gavin for a couple of projects so far this year.
A full house for a holiday let property and also for a garage conversion in my home.
He is a true professional, his workmanship and finish are awesome and I have no hesitations in recommending him to anyone looking for a decorator.
Highly recommended
